Diagnostics and Laboratory Testing

Our in-house laboratory allows us to analyse blood biochemistry, such as calcium, magnesium and phosphorus. We have a haematology analyser to assess red and white blood cells.

We can also look at specimen samples in-house, such as faeces for faecal egg counts, skin samples for parasite detection and sperm for fertility scoring.

We also work closely with an external laboratory to provide individual profile panels and investigate problems such as abortion and respiratory issues.

We often visit farms to perform metabolic profiling of herds and flocks, which can be tailored to your individual needs. 

These assess whether the diet is meeting the needs of the animals, and monitor key parameters at important times, such as lambing, calving and breeding season.
