Lizzy Edwards
Clinical Director
Lizzy graduated from the Royal Veterinary College and started working here at Jonathan Wood in 2013. She loves all animals and enjoys the challenges of mixed practice – being at home either in the consulting room or out in the Devon Countryside.
Before graduating as a Vet, Lizzy completed a degree in Veterinary Science at the Royal Veterinary College. During this degree she spent a year studying Veterinary Pathology.
In 2015, Lizzy welcomed Phoebe the Springer Spaniel into her home. Since then her menagerie has certainly grown, now having 5 dogs and 2 cats at home to keep her busy!
Outside of work Lizzy enjoys cooking and baking, walking in the countryside and is an enthusiastic gardener, especially if she has a cat or dog to help outside!
Dale Linney
Clinical Director
Dale graduated in 2013 from the Royal Veterinary College and moved to Devon to start his career in mixed practice. He spent four years at Jonathan Wood vets, before another nearly four years spent as lead vet at a busy out-of-hours clinic. Here he spent his time focusing on a heavy emergency caseload, and emergency and critical care is still his biggest area of interest.
In March 2022 he moved back to Jonathan Wood Vets to work alongside his wife Lizzy as Clinical Director.
Outside of the practice he is likely to be seen making the most of the countryside by trying to keep up with his five dogs (the three well-behaved spaniels are Lizzy’s!)
